The Podcast

The Tone Institute

Long conversations on the nervous system, and how the body makes sense of the world.

The Tone Institute is a podcast about the nervous system. How the body takes in information, how it responds, and what all of that has to do with healing.

Expect deep ideas made human. Stories from clinical practice, techniques and where they came from, thought experiments, working hypotheses, and the slow synthesis of concepts that rarely sit in the same room. It is a show about healing, and about understanding the worlds around us and within us.

The work

There is already a lot to talk about

We run retreats around the country. We built our own seminars and teach them to practitioners who come to learn the work. We are opening clinics. The podcast is where we get to say who we are and what we do. It is also where the nervous system gets talked about properly, instead of flattened into advice.

Practitioners and families gathered beside Luxury Energetics tables in a seminar room with floor to ceiling windows and palm trees outside.
A large seminar class of practitioners gathered for a photograph, several seated on the floor, portable tables stacked at the edges of the room.
Rows of portable tables on a seminar floor, practitioners working in pairs with their hands on patients spines while an instructor speaks into a microphone.
Patients and families gathered between the treatment tables in the clinic, in front of a lit blue and gold marble wall.
About thirty five practitioners gathered under two chandeliers in a hotel ballroom, the front row seated.
A seminar group of about forty five practitioners gathered for a photograph in a hotel ballroom.

The Studio

We built a room for this

A dedicated studio is finished and waiting. Photographs of the space are on the way.
